About

We built this because “fully automated” isn’t what most businesses actually want

Why this exists

Most AI tools that handle public-facing tasks are built around one idea: remove the human entirely. That’s a reasonable goal for a lot of software. It’s the wrong goal for something posting words in your business’s name, in public, permanently attached to your Google listing.

REPLYfairy started from the opposite premise: the AI’s job is to make replying fast and easy, not to make the decision for you. Every reply that could matter goes to you first. You stay the one who decides what your business actually says.

Who built this

I’ve spent 24 years making sure things don’t break in public.

Most of it in banking — HSBC, Deutsche Bank, UBS — leading quality and delivery on systems where a mistake isn’t embarrassing, it’s reportable. Twenty-four years of that teaches you one thing. The failures that hurt aren’t the ones you planned for. They’re the ones nothing was watching.

REPLYfairy is that lesson applied somewhere much smaller and much more personal. A reply posted in your name sits on your Google listing permanently. It’s public, it’s attributed to you, and you can’t quietly take it back. So the software doesn’t get the final say. It drafts, it flags what it isn’t sure about, and then it waits for you. Never without your OK.

I completed the AI and Digital Transformation programme at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and I’m a Certified Google AI Professional. But that isn’t why REPLYfairy works the way it does. It works this way because I’ve spent a career watching what happens when nobody’s checking.

What we believe

Speed matters, but not at the cost of control. A fast reply that embarrasses you is worse than a slower one that doesn’t.

Every business sounds different, and replies should too. A template with your name on it isn’t a real reply.

The riskiest reviews deserve the most human attention, not the least. That’s why sensitive reviews are the ones that always come to you.
